Certified events have met minimum standards in each of five categories described by the Resport certification. Evergreen is the highest certification attainable, followed by Gold, Silver, and Certified. In 2008, events across the country took part in a pilot program to assess the state of responsible event production. Participating events earning enough credits could become certified through the program.
